🔺 No Fly Zone. No. 1 Penn State wrestling went on the road this weekend to No. 3 Iowa and absolutely dominated the Hawkeyes, 29-6.

There’s not much time to celebrate the big win, though — the Nittany Lions are right back on the mat tonight at home against Rutgers.

🔺 Close Call. Despite holding Northwestern to just 32 percent shooting from the field, Penn State men’s basketball fell to the Wildcats on Sunday, 68-63.

Nick Kern Jr. led the Nittany Lions with 18 points, with Ace Baldwin Jr. right behind him with 17 points. Zach Hicks added 14 of his own.

🔺 Badger Bite. Penn State women’s basketball led by as many as 17 points in the first half against Wisconsin on Sunday, but went cold in the second half in a 69-64 loss to the Badgers.

Ashley Owusu scored 24 points to lead the Nittany Lions, scoring in double-figures in her ninth-straight game.

Matt Traynor was outstanding, with six goals against the Wildcats.

The Nittany Lions rattled off wins against Marshall, FAU and No. 16 Arkansas to begin the weekend before beating Ohio twice to earn their fourth and fifth wins.

🔺 Freezer Burn. Both Penn State women’s and men’s hockey had tough road trips over the weekend at Robert Morris and Minnesota, respectively.

The women came up with a tie on Friday night before falling 4-3 on Saturday to the Colonials.
