🔺 Wolverine Win. No. 1 Penn State wrestling earned another dominant Big Ten win over the weekend, Beating Michigan in Ann Arbor, 38-3!

The Nittany Lions won nine bouts, including five by technical fall, against the Wolverines.

🔺 Like Fine Nine! No. 4 Penn State women’s hockey ran its win streak to nine games over the weekend, sweeping Lindenwood in its final road series of the regular season!

Kate DeSa blanked the Lions in Game 2 of the series for her record 10th shutout of the season.

🔺 Hot Start. Penn State softball put together a successful opening weekend in Florida, picking up wins against Missouri, Boston College, Eastern Kentucky and BYU at the NFCA Leadoff Classic!

🔺 1-0! No. 23 Penn State women’s lacrosse won its season opener on Saturday, beating Richmond, 10-9, for Kayla Treanor’s first win as the Nittany Lions’ head coach!

Six Penn State players scored a goal with nine of the Blue and White’s 10 goals being assisted.

🔺 History For Coach Pavlik! No. 14 Penn State men’s volleyball earned a pair of wins against Saint Francis over the weekend, with the second win of the weekend handing head coach Mark Pavlik his 700th of his career!

Pavlik is just the fourth head coach across all divisions in the history of NCAA men’s volleyball to reach the 700-win milestone, joining Al Scates (1,239), Don Shondell (769), and Pete Hanson (712). He is the only active coach amongst the group.

🔺 Records Fall! Two school records fell on Saturday as Penn State track and field hosted the Sykes & Sabock Challenge — Ajani Dwyer in the men’s 60-meter dash (6.52 seconds) and Handal Roban in the men’s 600-meter (1:14.89)!

🔺 Win Streak! Penn State women’s tennis is now 5-0 on the season after earning dominant wins over Mercyhurst (7-0) and Mount St. Mary’s (4-0) at the Indoor Tennis Center on Sunday!

🔺 Split Serve. Penn State men’s tennis split a pair of matches over the weekend, beating William & Mary, 4-3, on Saturday to improve to 7-0 on the season before falling to Liberty, 6-1, on Sunday.

🔺 Extra Time. Penn State men’s lacrosse played through nine ties and three lead changes against Villanova on Saturday, ultimately falling to the Wildcats in overtime, 14-13, inside Holuba Hall.

Chase Robertson and Hunter Aquino both collected hat tricks in the loss.

🔺 Spartan Battle. Penn State women’s basketball hosted No. 12 Michigan State on Saturday at Rec Hall, falling to the Spartans, 81-70.

Kiyomi McMiller had her best game as a Lady Lion, scoring a career-high 37 points while also grabbing eight rebounds.

🔺 Set A High Bar. No. 14 Penn State women’s gymnastics has now scored 196.000 or higher as a team in six straight competitions after securing two more over the weekend against No. 3 LSU and No. 11 Michigan State!

🔺 Halted By The Huskers. No. 5 Penn State men’s gymnastics suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, losing to No. 6 Nebraska in Lincoln, 318.600-317.150.

Akseli Karsikas took home the only honor for PSU, winning the high bar with a 13.850, a new season high.
