Engaging in regular physical activity can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve mood and increase self-esteem. Exercise also promotes the release of endorphins – the body’s natural mood elevators – and other neurotransmitters that help regulate mood and decrease stress. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise per week, along with muscle-strengthening activities two or more days per week.

🦁 ONE BIG THING

🔺 For Country! Four Penn State women’s hockey players will lace ‘em up for their countries at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games this week!

Three current players — Tessa Janecke (USA), Nicole Hall (Sweden) and Matilde Fantin (Italy) — and one alum, Jessica Adolfsson (Sweden), will all begin preliminary round play tomorrow!
