🔺 Legend Lost. Lou Prato, a 1959 Penn State alumni, distinguished journalist, author and historian of Penn State University, passed away at the age of 87 on Tuesday, February 25.
Prato had a lifelong passion for Penn State Athletics. He had a career in television while also working on many freelance opportunities. He taught classes at Penn State and was the founding director of the Penn State All-Sports Museum. Prato dedicated much of his life narrating the history of Penn State Football and Penn State Athletics.

🔺 Boiling Over. Penn State women’s basketball plays its final home game of the regular season today, hosting Purdue at 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network inside the Bryce Jordan Center.
The Boilermakers are 9-18 overall this season and 2-14 in Big Ten action.

🔺 Back And Forth. Penn State men’s basketball battled with Indiana on Wednesday in Bloomington, falling 83-78 to the Hoosiers.
Six Nittany Lions scored in double figures — Ace Baldwin Jr. (22), Yanic Konan Niederhauser (16), Zach Hicks (10), Freddie Dilione V (10), D’Marco Dunn (10) and Nick Kern Jr. (10).

🔺 Drexel Date. Penn State women’s lacrosse couldn’t dig itself out from an early hole to Drexel on Wednesday, losing 14-10 to the Dragons at Panzer Stadium.
Erika Ho made a huge impact for the Nittany Lions, collecting seven points on six goals and an assist.

🔺 A New Era. Work continues at Jeffrey Field to bring in a whole new era of Penn State soccer!

🔺 Touring Pro. Penn State men’s golf alum Patrick Sheehan will be teeing it up at the PGA Tour’s Cognizant Classic today!
Sheehan won a Monday qualifier to earn a spot in this week’s tournament, shooting 8-under at The Tesoro Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

🔺 Super Skaters. Atlantic Hockey America announced its yearly all-conference teams on Wednesday, and eight Nittany Lions made the list!
Tessa Janecke, Katelyn Roberts, Kendall Butze and Katie DeSa were named first team members, Maddy Christian and Lyndie Lobdell were named to the second team, while Grace Outwater and Grace Tullock were named to the All-Rookie Team.
