🔺 Sprinting Lion. Penn State freshman sprinter Ajani Dwyer made headlines over the weekend at the USATF Indoor Championships, finishing sixth in the 60-meter final and tying the Penn State record in the prelims with a blazing 6.54 personal best.

Dwyer will next be on the track at the Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis from Feb. 28-March 1!

🔺 King Kling. After hitting four home runs in three games against Longwood over the weekend, Penn State baseball’s Paxton Kling made the Big Ten’s decision an easy one on Monday — the outfielder is the Big Ten Player of the Week!

🔺 Out West. Penn State women’s golf finished up play in the desert at the Westbrook Invitational on Monday, finishing sixth as a team.

Drew Nienhaus led the Nittany Lions with a sixth place finish of her own, shooting a final-round, bogey-free 66. As a team, Penn State shot a final round 9-under 279, its lowest round of the season.

🔺 Medal Detector. Penn State men’s gymnast Matt Underhill came home with some hardware from the Winter Cup in Louisville, Ky., earning a third-place finish on rings!
