🔺 Down Goes No. 1! No. 18 Penn State men’s hockey continues to be the hottest team in college hockey, taking five points against No. 1 Michigan State in East Lansing over the weekend!

The Nittany Lions won a shootout on Friday night before winning 3-2 on Saturday. Penn State is now 9-1-2 over its last 12 games.

NJ Indoor Activities Wow. While the Garden State may be famous for sandy beaches and sunny boardwalks, it also boasts a wide variety of indoor winter activities perfect for cold weather and rainy days alike. 

🔺 Postseason Prepped. No. 1 Penn State wrestling wrapped up its regular season on Friday, beating American 50-3 to finish a perfect 15-0.

The Nittany Lions picked up five pins and four tech falls in the win.

🔺 Navy Dub. No. 10 Penn State men’s lacrosse added another tally to the win column on Saturday, taking down Navy, 13-7.

Luke Walstrum was fantastic for the Nittany Lions, collecting the first five-point game of his career (two goals, three assists).

🔺 Golden Ticket. Penn State men’s basketball earned its first Big Ten road victory of the season over the weekend, with a strong defensive effort leading to a 69-60 win at Minnesota.

Yanic Konan Niederhauser led the way against the Golden Gophers with a Big Ten career-best 24 points, with seven rebounds and five blocks.

🔺 Bayou Ball. Penn State softball went 2-2 over the weekend at the LSU Invitational in Baton Rouge, La., splitting doubleheaders on both Friday and Saturday.

The Nittany Lions run-ruled Nicholls, 10-2, on Friday for their first win of the weekend, and earned a 4-1 win over Southern Miss on Saturday.

🔺 Sweet Sweep. Penn State ran its win streak to four games and improved to 5-1 overall with its weekend sweep of Longwood in Lexington, Va.

Paxton Kling continued his torrid start to the spring with four home runs in three games. The Nittany Lions’ center fielder is now hitting .440 on the season with five home runs and nine RBI in just six games.

🔺 Senior Day Upset. No. 25 Penn State women’s gymnastics celebrated its senior class with an upset win over No. 22 Ohio State on Saturday, scoring a season-best 196.525

🔺 One Up, One Down. Penn State men’s volleyball split a pair of matchups in Newark against NJIT over the weekend, bouncing back from a 3-0 loss on Friday to earn a 3-1 win on Saturday.

🔺 B1Gs Next. Penn State track and field closed out its indoor regular season over the weekend, with competition highlighted by freshman Jake Palermo demolishing the school record in the 400-meters with a time of 45.65.

Palermo is the first Nittany Lion to ever run sub-46 seconds in the indoor 400m, moves into the top-10 in Division I in the event, and has the fastest time among freshmen nationally.

🔺 Doubled Down. Penn State women’s tennis improved to 8-1 over the weekend and pushed its win streak to five matches with a pair of 4-3 victories over Colorado and UNLV in Las Vegas.
