🔺 Dominant Showing. Penn State men’s basketball shot 60 percent from the field on Wednesday night against Nebraska, winning 89-72 to earn its fourth Big Ten victory of the season.
Yanic Konan Niederhauser and Zach Hicks each led the Nittany Lions with 19 points, and were joined in double figures by D’Marco Dunn (17), Freddie Dilione V (12), Ace Baldwin Jr. (10) and Nick Kern (10).
The 60 percent that Penn State shot from the field was its best shooting performance in a Big Ten game since 2007.
🔺 Young Lion. Penn State men’s lacrosse’s Hunter Aquino has earned his first weekly award — the Big Ten named him the Men’s Lacrosse Freshman of the Week!
Aquino tallied his first career hat-trick and five-point game after scoring three goals and posting two assists against Princeton on Saturday.

🔺 Day 1 Down. Penn State women’s swimming and diving competed at Day 1 of the Big Ten Championship on Wednesday, with action kicking off in the 200 Medley Relay and 800 Freestyle Relay.
The Nittany Lions will enter Day 2 in 11th place as a team.
