🔺 Outdoor Hockey! No. 4 Penn State women’s hockey completed a season sweep of Robert Morris over the weekend, including a 3-0 win at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium on Friday!
The Nittany Lions, who clinched an AHA regular season title last weekend, are now 26-4 overall and 19-1 in conference play.

🔺 All Eyes On Hockey. No. 5 Penn State men’s hockey took on No. 2 Michigan State in front of 74,575 fans at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, the second-largest crowd to watch a collegiate hockey game all-time!
The Nittany Lions dropped both games to the Spartans over the weekend, and now hold a record of 18-8-0 and 10-6-6 in Big Ten play.

🔺 1-0! No. 7 Penn State men’s lacrosse got its season off to a hot start on Sunday, beating Colgate inside Holuba Hall, 18-14!
Hunter Aquino set new career-highs with five goals on 15 shots, leading an offensive core that had 10 different goal scorers. Michael Faraone and Kyle Lehman each scored three goals in the win.

🔺 Husked The Huskers. No. 1 Penn State wrestling dominated Nebraska in a top-five matchup at the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday night, beating the No. 5 Huskers, 26-12.
The Nittany Lions won seven bouts on their way to the lopsided win, wrestling their sixth dual meet in 20 days.
🔺 B1G Dub! Penn State men’s basketball got into the win column in Big Ten play on Sunday, with Kayden Mingo scoring with less than two seconds left to give the Nittany Lions a 77-75 win over Minnesota inside Bryce Jordan Center!
Freddie Dilione V (25 points), Josh Reed (18 points), Mingo (14 points) and Dominick Stewart (12 points) all scored in double figures.

🔺 Home Course Advantage. More records fell over the weekend for Penn State track and field!
Hayley Kitching broke her own program record in the women’s 800 meters, running 2:00.01, while Handal Roban ran the second-fastest mark in NCAA history in the men’s 800 meters, crossing the finish line in 1:44.91 on Day 1!

🔺 Seeing Rainbows. Penn State men’s volleyball dropped a pair of matches to No. 3 Hawaii over the weekend inside Rec Hall, in the Rainbow Warriors’ first trip to Happy Valley since the 2002 NCAA Tournament.

🔺 B1G Dub. No. 13 Penn State women’s gymnastics continued its hot start to the season with its fourth straight win while scoring higher than 196.000, winning 196.375-194.575 over Rutgers on Sunday!

🔺 Illini Fight. No. 6 Penn State men’s gymnastics got a win in its Big Ten opener on Sunday afternoon, beating No. 7 Illinois, 316.800-311.00!
PSU scored above a 52.000 on all but one rotation, combining for a well-balanced victory over the Illini. The Nittany Lions stuck seven total routines on the afternoon.

🔺 Half Dozen. Penn State men’s tennis improved to 6-0 over the weekend, beating Saint Joseph’s on Saturday morning, 6-1, before sweeping Mount St. Mary’s in the afternoon!

🔺 Duals Done. Penn State men’s and women’s swimming and diving closed out its dual schedule over the weekend, with both programs picking up big wins on the road at West Virginia and back home against George Washington!
