Engaging in regular physical activity can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve mood and increase self-esteem. Exercise also promotes the release of endorphins – the body’s natural mood elevators – and other neurotransmitters that help regulate mood and decrease stress. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise per week, along with muscle-strengthening activities two or more days per week.

🦁 ONE BIG THING

🔺 Instant Impact! Penn State softball’s Allison Oneacre has been named the Unanimous National Freshman of the Week after hitting .583 with six extra-base hits last weekend at the Houston Invitational!
