🔺 Ice Sweep. Penn State men’s hockey ran its win streak to four games over the weekend, sweeping No. 18 Notre Dame at Pegula Ice Arena with a 5-3 win on Friday and a 3-2 win on Saturday.
With a two-point game on Saturday, Aiden Fink took the national lead in points (44).

🔺 B1G Champs! No. 1 Penn State wrestling earned its fifth-consecutive Big Ten regular season championship over the weekend and 11th overall, thanks to a pair of wins over Ohio State and Illinois.
The Nittany Lions took down the Buckeyes, 27-13, in Columbus on Friday before traveling to Champaign and beating the Illini, 29-9.

🔺 Postseason Push. No. 9 Penn State women’s hockey closed out the regular season with a sweep of RIT over the weekend, finishing with a 28-5-1 overall record and 19-1 mark in conference action.
The AHA Tournament begins on Saturday with the quarterfinal round.

🔺 Started Strong. Penn State baseball picked up a pair of wins in Puerto Rico during opening weekend, a 10-0 win over Missouri on Friday and a thrilling 7-6 win over UConn on Sunday night to earn a winning weekend.

🔺 Two In A Row. No. 22 Penn State women’s lacrosse earned its second consecutive victory on Saturday, winning 13-11 on the road at Saint Joseph’s.
Lauren Saltz and Ally Lipkin led the way offensive for the Nittany Lions, combining for seven goals against the Hawks.

🔺 Two Ws. Penn State softball picked up a pair of wins in Tampa over the weekend at the Fonseca Memorial Tournament at USF.
After dropping their first two games against St. John’s and USF on Friday, the Nittany Lions bounced back with victories over Loyola Chicago and St. John’s on Saturday. A loss to USF on Sunday rounded out the competition.

🔺 Husky Heartbreaker. Penn State men’s basketball had two chances at a game-tying or game-winning shot in the final 30 seconds against Washington on Saturday but couldn’t get a bucket to drop in a 75-73 loss to the Huskies at the Bryce Jordan Center.

🔺 Pink Zone. Penn State women’s basketball fell in a back-and-forth game with Wisconsin on Sunday, 75-68.
Gracie Merkle led all scorers with 28 points, and added 12 rebounds for her third-straight double-double. Gabby Elliott scored in double figures for the sixth game in a row with 12 points.

🔺 Tiger Fight. No. 9 Penn State men’s lacrosse and No. 8 Princeton went back-and-forth through four quarters on Saturday and into overtime, where the Tigers earned an 11-10 win.
Matt Traynor tallied his second five-goal game of the season, and now has 14 through three games.

🔺 On A Roll. No. 20 Penn State men’s volleyball ran its win streak to three matches over the weekend, picking up a pair of wins over Saint Francis.
The Nittany Lions swept the Red Flash on the road on Friday night, and again at Rec Hall on Saturday.

🔺 Top Notch. Penn State men’s tennis has now won seven straight matches and 11 of 12 overall this season after beating Saint Francis, Drexel and Georgetown over the course of the weekend in University Park.
The Nittany Lions dropped just two total points throughout their three weekend matches.

🔺 West Coast Trip. No. 25 Penn State women’s gymnastics earned a 195.450 team score on Friday night, falling to No. 5 UCLA at Pauley Pavilion.
Kalea McElligott registered a career-best 39.275 in the all-around to highlight the competition.

🔺 Top Of The Charts. Penn State track and field split its weekend between the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C. and the David Hemery Valentine Invite in Boston, where Florence Caron set the Penn State women’s 5K school record in a time of 15:25.83.
