🔺 B1G Champs! No. 1 Penn State wrestling clinched its sixth consecutive Big Ten regular season title on Friday night, beating No. 2 Ohio State in the Bryce Jordan Center, 36-5!

Penn State also capped off its 11th unbeaten/untied Big Ten regular season in school history with the win over the Buckeyes.

🔺 Down Goes No. 3! No. 14 Penn State men’s lacrosse made an early-season statement on Saturday, beating No. 3 Princeton on the road, 13-7!

The PSU offense put up 18 points with eight different Nittany Lions getting on the score sheet. The Blue & White shared the love on Valentine’s Day with all eight point-recorders scoring a goal.

🔺 Postseason Next! No. 4 Penn State women’s hockey closed out the regular season over the weekend, splitting a pair of games against RIT to finish at 29-5 overall and 22-2 in conference play!

Penn State will have a bye to the AHA semifinals, hosted at Pegula Ice Arena from February 27-March 1.

🔺 Wolverines On Ice. No. 6 Penn State men’s hockey battled No. 2 Michigan in Ann Arbor over the weekend, drawing 4-4 against the Wolverines on Friday before falling 6-3 on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions are now 18-9-1 overall and 10-7-1 in Big Ten action.

🔺 Sunday Shootout. No. 24 Penn State women’s lacrosse improved to 3-0 on Sunday, dominating Bucknell inside Holuba Hall, 21-9!

Kelly MacKinney secured her 100th career point in the victory, totaling six total against the Bisons. Rocquette Allen also added six points for the Nittany Lions.

🔺 Opened Up! Penn State baseball opened its season in Arizona over the weekend, going 1-2 at the MLB Desert Invitational.

The Nittany Lions dropped games to Air Force and Kansas State, and earned a 9-3 win against Grand Canyon on Saturday. Jack Porter and Justin Turcovski both had three RBI in the win.

🔺 Win The Weekend! Penn State softball rattled off four straight wins at the Houston Invitational after dropping its opener to Incarnate Word, beating Houston, Lafayette, Houston Christian and Pittsburgh while outscoring those four teams, 39-6!

🔺 Out West. Penn State men’s basketball closed out its West Coast trip at Oregon on Saturday, falling to the Ducks in Eugene, 83-72.

Kayden Mingo led the Nittany Lions, matching his career-high with 24 points.

🔺 How Sweep It Is! No. 15 Penn State men’s volleyball pushed its win streak to four matches over the weekend, sweeping Princeton in its first two EIVA matchups of the season!

Penn State improved to 71-10 in the all-time series with Princeton.

🔺 Pink Zone. Penn State women’s basketball picked up its second Big Ten win of the season on Sunday over Northwestern, 81-71, while celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Lady Lions’ Pink Zone Game!

🔺 Celebrating The Seniors! No. 16 Penn State women’s gymnastics continued its streak of scoring 196.000 or better on Saturday, totaling 196.000 points in a loss to No. 15 Minnesota.

With three scores of 9.900 or better, the Nittany Lions secured the fifth-highest bars score in program history with a 49.375, just shy of the mark set during the Maryland meet.

🔺 Now Serving. Penn State men’s and women’s tennis were both in action over the weekend — the Nittany Lion men swept both Georgetown and Mercyhurst by 7-0 final tallies, while the women split matchups against No. 2 Ohio State and St. Bonaventure.

🔺 Half-Mile Magic. Penn State track and field competed in multiple meets over the weekend, with competition highlighted by both Handal Roban and Hayley Kitching breaking program records in the men’s and women’s 800 meters on Saturday, while running top-three NCAA all-time marks in the events!
