🔺 Cruise Control. No. 22 Penn State women’s lacrosse dominated Bucknell on Wednesday, winning 16-4 inside Holuba Hall to earn its first win of the 2025 season.

Kelly MacKinney led the way for the Nittany Lions with seven points on a goal and six assists. Elise Smigiel earned a hat trick, while Brooke Hoss, Emma Kelly, Minka Martinez and Ellie Wisch all contributed multi-point games.

🔺 Land of Lincoln. After playing at Northwestern on Sunday, Penn State women’s basketball is in Champaign, Ill. today for a 7 p.m. ET tipoff at Illinois.

The Illini are 19-5 overall this season, and are currently tied for fourth place in the Big Ten standings at 9-4 in conference action.

🔺 Quick Cat. Already for the third time this season, Penn State track and field’s Ajani Dwyer is the Big Ten Men’s Freshman of the Week!

Dwyer ran his fifth sub-6.6 60-meter dash at Penn State’s Sykes & Sabock Challenge on Saturday, winning the final in 6.59.
