🔺 Sparring With Sparty. Penn State men’s basketball heads west tonight on a mission to pick up its second Big Ten win of the season at Michigan State.

The Spartans got off to a tough start to their season, but have won four straight and sit at 8-5 heading into tonight’s matchup.

🔺 Four Score. USA Lacrosse has released Its preseason poll, and the organization is high on Penn State!

The Nittany Lions find themselves at No. 4 in the USA Lacrosse poll, with just 30 days until their season opener against Colgate at Panzer Stadium.

🔺 Right There. USA Lacrosse also gave a shoutout to Penn State women’s lacrosse on Wednesday, ranking the Lady Lions at No. 14 in its preseason poll!

Penn State is coming off an 11-7 season and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2023, and is one of four Big Ten schools included in the rankings.

🔺 Let The Games Begin. Penn State men’s volleyball kicks off its season tonight against Central State at 7 p.m. inside Rec Hall!

The Nittany Lions are coming off a season in which they went 27-4 overall and a perfect 10-0 in EIVA play.

🔺 What A Month. December was good to Penn State women’s hockey’s Tessa Janecke and Josie Bothun — the pair earned CHA Monthly Awards for their work on the ice!

Janecke was named Forward of the Month for the second month in a row after tallying three goals, two assists and 81 faceoff wins. Bothun earned her second Goaltender of the Month award after going 3-1-0 with a GAA of 1.26.
