🔺 Nice On The Ice. Penn State men’s and women’s hockey both had fantastic weekends!
The men finished up their first-ever sweep of Ohio State in front of a sold-out crowd during a White Out game, winning both games against the Buckeyes, 4-3.
The Lady Lions had the same sweep result, but with far less drama — Penn State outscored Lindenwood 16-2 over two games.
🔺 Wholly Dominant Performance. Penn State women’s basketball took down Maryland at home on Sunday, 112-76, and where do we even begin?
The win was the Lady Lions’ first over the Terps since December 3, 2003, the 112 points are the most ever given up by Maryland, Penn State shot 62% from the field and from deep, and made 16 of its shots from deep, and we could go on!

🔺 Tale Of Two Halves. Penn State men’s basketball took a 45-31 lead into halftime against Minnesota on Saturday, but the Gophers came storming back to win, 83-74.

🔺 On The Court. Penn State men’s tennis bounced back after falling to Toledo in its opening match of the weekend, beating Temple 4-3 on Sunday to earn the weekend split.
