🔺 Best In The B1G. The Big Ten has announced its postseason awards and All-Big Ten football teams, and Penn State is well-represented!

Abdul Carter was named both the Defensive Lineman and Defensive Player of the Year on top of his First Team All-Big Ten nod, and Tyler Warren was named the conference’s Tight End of the Year along with First Team honors.

In total, 22 Nittany Lions earned recognition from the Big Ten.

🔺 Shining Star. Fresh off the first two starts of his collegiate career last week, Penn State goaltender John Seifarth is Big Ten Hockey’s First Star of the Week!

Seifarth backstopped the Nittany Lions to a series sweep of Colgate last week, stopping 47-of-50 shots in the series.

🔺 Super Seniors. How about one more round of applause for the Penn State football senior class, which has led the Nittany Lions to Indianapolis this week for the Big Ten Championship!

🔺 Seeing Green. Penn State swimming and diving will be split up this week, with swimmers in Greensboro, N.C. competing at the TYR Pro Series Toyota U.S. Open and divers heading to Piscataway tomorrow for the Rutgers Invitational.
