🔺 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! Penn State made history Sunday with its 3-1 (25-23, 32-34, 25-20, 25-17) win over Louisville in the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship match at the KFC Yum! Center.
It was the eighth National Title in program history and, under the leadership of Katie Schumacher-Cawley, was the first ever Division I title in the sport won by a team with a woman head coach.
The Nittany Lions close the season at 35-2 and take home the title of both national champions and Big Ten champions. Their run to the national title included wins over Delaware State, North Carolina, Marquette, Creighton, and Nebraska, before finally culminating with the victory over Louisville in front of an NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship record crowd of 21,860 fans.

The Nittany Lions dominated No. 11 seed SMU in their CFP First Round matchup at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, returning a pair of interceptions for touchdowns in the first half on their way to a 38-10 win over the Mustangs.

🔺 Full Well. Penn State men’s basketball picked up its 10th win of the season over the weekend, winning 75-64 over Drexel inside Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Yanic Konan Niederhauser led the way with 18 points, followed by Ace Baldwin Jr. (15 points), Nick Kern (13 points) and Puff Johnson (11 points, 10 rebounds).
🔺 Dominant Day. No. 1 Penn State wrestling again flexed its muscle on Sunday, earning three wins at the Journeymen Duals in Nashville, Tenn. by a combined score of 137-3.
The Nittany Lions beat Binghamton (52-0), Arkansas-Little Rock (44-0) and No. 8 Missouri (41-3).
