🔺 And Then There Were Four! Penn State women’s volleyball is headed to the NCAA Semifinal thanks to a five-set win over Creighton on Sunday night at Rec Hall!

Jess Mruzik led the way with 20 kills, followed by Caroline Jurevicius with 11.

The Nittany Lions will take on fellow No. 1 seed Nebraska on Thursday in Louisville, Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center. Penn State beat Nebraska in four sets in its regular season finale back on Nov. 29.

🔺 Dishing ‘Em Out. Ace Baldwin Jr. inserted himself into the Penn State men’s basketball record book on Saturday, dishing out a program-record 16 assists in a 99-51 win over Coppin State at the Bryce Jordan Center.

His second assist of the game was the 700th of his career, while his 16 total dimes broke a nearly 50-year-old single-game record. He added 11 points. Five other Nittany Lions scored in double figures — Yanic Konan Niederhauser (14), Puff Johnson (12), Nick Kern Jr. (12), D’Marco Dunn (10) and Dominick Stewart (10).

🔺 Pitched A Shutout. No. 1 Penn State wrestling lived up to its ranking on Sunday, winning 54-0 over Wyoming in front of over 7,300 fans inside the Bryce Jordan Center to improve to 3-0 in duals this season.

The Nittany Lions won all 10 bouts, all for bonus, while Beau Bartlett (141 pounds), Shayne Van Ness (149 pounds), Levi Haines (174 pounds), Carter Starocci (184 pounds) and Josh Barr (197 pounds) all earned pins.

🔺 Road Game At Allen. Penn State women’s basketball held a lead for most of the second half at Kansas on Sunday, but a late scoring burst from the Jayhawks gave them a 68-65 win at Allen Fieldhouse.

Gracie Merkle led the way with 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Lions, with Moriah Murray (16 points) and Alli Campbell (15 points) joining her in double figures.
