🔺 Vamos A Puerto Rico! We have 36 more days until Penn State baseball kicks off its 2024 season, but get this — we already know where the Nittany Lions will begin their 2025 season!

Penn State will take a trip down to Puerto Rico to play in the Puerto Rico Challenge, joining a stacked field of UConn, Michigan, Missouri, Rice, Stetson, Villanova and Virginia.

🔺 Down To The Wire. Despite strong performances from a number of Nittany Lions, Penn State men’s basketball fell to a talented Northwestern team on Wednesday, 76-72.

Kanye Clary shouldered the scoring load with 25 points, while Nick Kern Jr. scored a season-high 14 points, Qudus Wahab scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Ace Baldwin Jr. tied a Penn State single-game record with eight steals.

🔺 Fought It Out. Penn State women’s basketball gave No. 14/13 Indiana all it took handle on Wednesday, leading by as many as nine points late in the second quarter, but eventually fell to the Hoosiers, 75-67.

It was a balanced scoring effort for the Nittany Lions, with four in double figures — Leilani Kapinus (15), Ali Brigham (14), Tay Valladay (13) and Shay Ciezki (12).
