🔺 Game Won! Penn State men’s basketball used a 16-2 run to close the game on Monday to win its season opener over Fairfield, 76-68!

Melih Tunca led the way with 19 points for the Nittany Lions, with Kayden Mingo (15 points), Ivan Jurić (13 points) and Eli Rice (10 points) joining him in double figures.

🔺 One Win In! Penn State women’s basketball got its season off on a high note on Monday, beating Bucknell, 83-55, at Rec Hall!

Kiyomi McMiller scored 27 points to lead the Lady Lions, followed by Gracie Merkle with 24 points.

🔺 Four-For-Four! Penn State women’s hockey has swept the September/October AHA monthly awards for the first time in program history!

Tessa Janecke was named Forward of the Month, while Danica Maynard was the league’s Defenseman of the Month. Katie DeSa was honored with Goaltender of the Month and Matilde Fantin was the AHA’s Freshman of the Month.
