🔺 Game On! Penn State men’s basketball officially opens its regular season today, hosting Fairfield inside the Bryce Jordan Center at 7 p.m. on Big Ten Plus!

🔺 Time For Tipoff! Penn State women’s hoops also opens the regular season today, welcoming Bucknell to Rec Hall for a 5 p.m. tipoff!

🔺 B1G Sweep. No. 4 Penn State men’s hockey closed out a sweep of No. 17 Ohio State on Friday night, beating the Buckeyes 4-3 in Columbus.
The Nittany Lions run their winning streak to seven games and improve to 9-1-0 overall and 2-0-0 in conference action.

🔺 Make It A Dozen. No. 6 Penn State women’s hockey ran its season-opening win streak to 12 games over the weekend, sweeping Robert Morris on the road to also improve its AHA record to a perfect 8-0.
The Nittany Lions outscored the Colonials 8-0 over the course of two games in Moon Township.

🔺 Fast Lions. Penn State women’s cross country impressed again on Friday morning, racing to a second-place finish at the Big Ten Championships. The team was led by Florence Caron, who earned her second straight First Team All-Big Ten nod after finishing fourth.
The men’s team placed eighth and were paced by Nick Sloff, who finished 23rd.

🔺 Battled The Buckeyes. Penn State football fell on the road at No. 1 Ohio State on Saturday, 34-18.
Redshirt freshman quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer threw for 145 yards on 19-of-28 attempts. Senior wide receiver Devonte Ross was his top target through the air, tallying five catches for 26 yards. Senior running back Kaytron Allen was the top PSU rusher, running the ball 21 times for 76 yards with one touchdown, marking his eighth consecutive game with at least one rushing touchdown.

🔺 Just Short. Despite taking a 1-0 lead into halftime against No. 3 seed UCLA, No. 6 seed Penn State women’s soccer fell 2-1 to the Bruins in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament in West Lafayette, Ind. over the weekend.
Kaitlyn MacBean, the league’s leading scorer during conference play this season, scored the Nittany Lions’ first-half goal.

🔺 Friday Night Fright. Penn State men’s soccer dropped a road match at Ohio State on Friday night, 1-0.
The Nittany Lions close out the regular season at home this Friday against No. 13 Michigan.

🔺 Last One. Penn State field hockey closed out its season on Friday against No. 18 Rutgers, falling 4-2 to the Scarlet Knights to end with a 7-10 overall record and 2-6 mark in Big Ten play.
Ella Jennes and Natalie Freeman both scored for the Nittany Lions.

🔺 Tough Two. No. 19 Penn State women’s volleyball dropped a pair of Big Ten matches over the weekend, to Michigan in five sets on Friday and to No. 24 Indiana in three sets on Sunday.
