🏈 No. 4 Penn State football visits Minnesota in Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.

  • Penn State meets Minnesota for the 17th time in program history. The Nittany Lions own a 10-6 record in the series. Penn State has won four road games against the Golden Gophers. In 2022, Penn State earned a 45-17 win. Sean Clifford threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns. Nicholas Singleton rushed for 79 yards and two scores. Curtis Jacobs led PSU with 14 tackles, including two tackles for loss. Ji'Ayir Brown had an interception, which he returned 35 yards.

  • Minnesota is 6-4 overall and 4-3 in Big Ten play. The Golden Gophers fell 26-19 at Rutgers on November 9. Max Brosmer threw for 262 yards and a touchdown, while Jameson Geers had eight receptions for 73 yards and Daniel Jackson made seven grabs for 70 yards. Cody Lindenberg led the Gophers with 14 tackles, including one tackle for loss.

  • Abdul Carter notched two tackles for loss and led PSU with five tackles against Purdue. It was his third-straight game with multiple tackles for loss (2 vs. Ohio State; 4 vs. Washington; 2 vs. Purdue). He ranks second in the FBS with 17.5 tackles for loss and seventh with eight sacks this season.

🔺 Second Half Surge. Penn State men’s basketball is 5-0!

After trailing 47-41 at halftime to Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday, the Nittany Lions exploded for 61 second-half points, winning 102-89. Ace Baldwin Jr. led the way with 25 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds at two steals. Yanic Konan Niederhauser also registered a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

🔺 Terrific In The Trenches. Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter has been named one of four finalists for the Lombardi Award!

The Lombardi Award, established in 1970, is presented to an outstanding lineman who best epitomizes the values of leadership, courage, performance and discipline on and off the field.

🔺 We’re Going To Disney World! Penn State women’s basketball is in Orlando, Fla. this weekend, starting play at the WBCA State Farm Showcase today against Marshall at 7:30 p.m. at the State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The Herd are 1-3 this season, their one win coming at home against Elon on Nov. 13.

🔺 Marquee Matchup. No. 4 Penn State women’s volleyball has a top-10 matchup today, hosting No. 8 Purdue at 6 p.m.

The Boilermakers sit in fourth place in the Big Ten standings at 13-3 in conference play, two games behind the Nittany Lions.

🔺 Made History. The No. 49-ranked doubles pairing of Olivia Dorner and Maiko Uchijima fell in the Round of 32 at the NCAA Doubles Championship on Wednesday, closing out a historic fall season.

The tandem’s appearance at the NCAA Individual Championships was the first for the program since the 2012-13 season.

🔺 Back With The Buckeyes. Penn State swimming and diving will travel to Columbus, Ohio for the second time in three weeks today, this time participating in the Ohio State Invitational.

Teams from Ohio State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Louisville, Notre Dame, Penn State, Rutgers, UCLA and Yale will all compete.
