🔺 Triple Digits. Penn State women’s basketball’s high-flying offense was in a groove yet again on Thursday, as the Lady Lions crossed the century mark in a 101-45 win over Niagara.

Gracie Merkle led the way with 24 points and seven rebounds, followed by Moriah Murray (17), Talayah Walker (12) and Gabby Elliott (11) in double figures. Nine Lady Lions made at least two shots from the field against the Purple Eagles.

🔺 Back At It. No. 1 Penn State wrestling is finally back in action! The Nittany Lions kick off their 2024-25 season this weekend at home, hosting the NWCA All-Star Classic Exhibition tomorrow at 7 p.m. before beginning dual action on Sunday against Drexel at 1 p.m.

🔺 Howdy, Hokies. Penn State men’s basketball gets an early-season test today, traveling to Baltimore to take on Virginia Tech as part of the Hall of Fame Series.

The Nittany Lions are averaging 101.0 points per game so far and are outscoring opponents by an average of 40.3 points, both top-10 marks in the country.

🔺 Here And There. No. 4 Penn State women’s volleyball will look to bounce back from its first Big Ten loss of the season las weekend to No. 6 Wisconsin, hosting Illinois (9-5 B1G) tonight at 7 p.m. before traveling to Maryland (3-11 B1G) on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

🔺 Win Or Go Home. The NCAA Tournament has arrived for No. 4 seed Penn State women’s soccer, as the Nittany Lions are set to host Stony Brook (14-3-3) at Jeffrey Field tomorrow at 6 p.m.

🔺 Home Course. Penn State cross country will run in its second postseason race of the season today, hosting the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals at the Blue & White Courses at noon.

The Nittany Lion women are fresh off a fourth place finish at Big Tens, while the men finished eighth.

🔺 Badgers On Ice. No. 18 Penn State men’s hockey is back on the ice this weekend after its bye week, hosting Wisconsin for a pair of games tonight and tomorrow.

The Badgers are 2-8 so far this season and 1-5 in Big Ten play, although each of those losses came to ranked opponents.

🔺 Lions vs. Lions. Penn State women’s hockey’s bye week is now behind it, as it welcomes Lindenwood to Pegula Ice Arena for a pair of games this weekend.

The Lions are 2-9-1 on the season, splitting their lone AHA series against Mercyhurst.
