🔺 Getting The Job Done. No. 14 Penn State volleyball picked up a pair of 3-2 wins over Indiana and Ohio State over the weekend to improve to 6-0 in Big Ten play!
Penn State and Indiana played four sets without a tie or lead change, but battled in the fifth set — Anjelina Starck had four kills in the set to give the Nittany Lions the win.
The Ohio State match was much more back-and-forth, with Allie Holland’s eight blocks and Gillian Grimes’ career-high 23 digs helping PSU get the win.
🔺 B1G Time Win. Penn State field hockey picked up arguably its best win of the season over the weekend, taking down No. 7 Ohio State 2-1 to get above .500 on the season at 6-5.
The two teams were scoreless for the first 41 minutes of the game, until Sophia Gladieux found the net for the Nittany Lions. Mackenzie Allessie scored again for Penn State 11 minutes later to provide some breathing room.
