🔺 Last Non-Con. Weekends with football are so much better than weekends without football! Penn State is back in action this weekend against UMass at 3:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

🎙 PRESS CONFERENCE NOTEBOOK: James Franklin — UMass

🔺 Scoreless Draw. No. 4 Penn State women’s soccer played Purdue to a scoreless draw on Thursday night in West Lafayette to move to 11-0-3 on the season.

Katherine Asman was the bright spot for the Nittany Lions, earning her sixth shutout of the year in net.

Penn State is back in action this Sunday at Northwestern.

🔺 Headed West. Penn State will test its eight-match win streak this weekend as it heads to the western edge of Big Ten country to take on Iowa and Nebraska.

The Nittany Lions are in Iowa City to take on the Hawkeyes, who are 8-10 overall and 0-6 in Big Ten play.

Then comes a showdown with No. 2 Nebraska, which as of this morning is undefeated at 15-0, with a matchup against Michigan State tonight before hosting Penn State Sunday.

🔺 Hosting Top Cats. Penn State men’s soccer looks to get back to its winning ways this evening at Jeffrey Field against Northwestern.

Northwestern is alone at the top of the Big Ten standings at 3-0-1, and is undefeated on the season at 9-0-3.

🔺 Great Lakes Group. Penn State field hockey travels to the mitten this weekend for road contests at Michigan State and Michigan.

The Nittany Lions (6-5) play the Spartans tonight, before heading to Ann Arbor to play the Wolverines on Sunday. All three teams claim one Big Ten win thus far on the year.

🔺 Top-10, Again. The gauntlet continues for Penn State women’s hockey this weekend, taking on its third top-10 opponent in four weeks as it travels to No. 10 Cornell.

The Nittany Lions and Big Red have played four times, with the series split at 1-1-2.

🤔 BLUE & WHITE TRIVIA

Second Matchup. Penn State and UMass have lined up against each other just one other time on the gridiron.
