🔺 Hot In The Desert. No. 5 Penn State men’s hockey got its season off to a hot start at No. 14 Arizona State over the weekend, sweeping the Sun Devils on Friday and Saturday.
The Nittany Lions outscored Arizona State 10-5 over the course of the two games, including 4-0 in the final period of Saturday’s game to earn a 4-2 win.
🔺 Two More. No. 6/7 Penn State women’s hockey improved to 4-0 this past weekend, sweeping Vermont on the road.
The Nittany Lions had five different goal scorers in the Game 2 win, the second time already this season that has happened.

🔺 Doubled Up. Penn State men’s soccer extended its win streak to three matches over the weekend, picking up a Big Ten win over Michigan State on Friday, 2-1, before taking down King’s College during Sunday’s Senior Day celebration, 7-1.

🔺 Good Knight. Penn State women’s soccer picked up a Big Ten road win on Saturday, beating Rutgers in Piscataway, N.J., 2-1.
Amelia White scored the opening goal of the match for the Nittany Lions, and Kaitlyn MacBean scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute.
🔺 Fast Lap. Penn State cross country ran well at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Friday, with the women finishing second and the men finishing sixth in a stacked field.
🔺 Sunday Fun Day. No. 16 Penn State women’s volleyball picked up a Big Ten win on Sunday, traveling to Maryland and taking down the Terrapins in five sets.
The match in College Park was the Nittany Lions’ second of the weekend, having fallen in three sets to No. 1 Nebraska on Friday.
🔺 Came Up Short. No. 22 Penn State dropped a road contest to UCLA by way of a 42-37 final score inside the Rose Bowl on Saturday. Despite a late-game comeback attempt, the Nittany Lions came up short of a victory.

🔺 Red, White & Blue! Penn State men’s volleyball has two players heading to Puerto Rico with the U.S. National Team!
Redshirt seniors Ryan Merk and Owen Rose are on the USA roster for the NORCECA Men’s Final Six, an event that includes Canada, Suriname, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Dominican Republic.
