🔺 Sweet Sweep. No. 12 Penn State women’s hockey enjoyed a nearly-perfect weekend at Pegula Ice Arena, sweeping Dartmouth with 2-0 and 4-1 final scores on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
Grace Outwater scored twice in Game 2, the first two goals of her career, and the Nittany Lions’ four other goals on the weekend came from four different skaters — Nicole Hall and Tessa Janecke in Game 1, and Katelyn Roberts and Stella Retrum in Game 2. Goalie Katie DeSa recorded 27 saves over the two games.
🔺 LA All Weekend. No. 16 Penn State women’s soccer had the task of traveling to Los Angeles to take on a pair of top-10 foes in No. 10 UCLA and No. 9 USC this weekend, coming away from the weekend with one point.

The Penn State men finished eighth as a team, with four of its top five runners recording PRs. Nick Sloff led the way in 21st place.
🔺 End On A High Note. After falling 6-0 against No. 7 Michigan on Friday, No. 16 Penn State field hockey bounced back on Sunday with a thrilling 2-1 win in overtime over Michigan State.
The Nittany Lions played from behind for almost 50 minutes against the Spartans until Julienne van Bekkum found the net late in regulation, and Ella Jennes’ goal in overtime was the winner.
