🔺 Nice To Meet You! Penn State women’s hoops’ Savannah White has never experienced a life without a love for basketball. The love for the sport was passed through her great grandfather, grandfather, father and older siblings to her.

Her “big basketball family” always helped each other improve, whether it was on the court or off the court.

🔺 Midweek Skate. Despite a pair of goals from sophomore Justin Poirier, it was a three-goal opening period by Robert Morris that ultimately decided the contest as the Colonials defeated Penn State men’s hockey, 5-2, in non-conference action at Pegula Ice Arena on Tuesday night.

🔺 Knight Time. Penn State men’s soccer dropped a Big Ten matchup to Rutgers at Jeffrey Field on Tuesday night, 5-0.

The Nittany Lions play their next two matches at home, hosting No. 18 Wisconsin this Saturday and Duquesne on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

🦁 ONE BIG THING

🔺 In The Rankings! Penn State field hockey, which has won seven straight games, has jumped into the rankings at No. 19 this week!
