🔺 Nice On Ice. No. 6 Penn State men’s hockey improved to 5-1-0 on the season over the weekend, sweeping Long Island at Pegula Ice Arena.
Matt DiMarsico registered a hat trick in Game 1 and three assists in Game 2 to lead the Nittany Lions, while freshman goalie Josh Fleming earned his first career shutout in Game 2.

🔺 Perfect Still! No. 6 Penn State women’s hockey extended its perfect start to the season over the weekend, sweeping No. 15 Mercyhurst to improve to 8-0-0.
The eight straight wins to open the season is the best start in program history, while the Nittany Lions’ four wins over ranked opponents is already the most in a single season in program history.

🔺 West Coast Road Split. No. 17 Penn State women’s volleyball spent the weekend on the West Coast, dropping a back-and-forth five-set match to Washington on Friday night before bouncing back to beat Oregon in four sets on Saturday.

🔺 Squared Away. Penn State men’s soccer salvaged a 2-2 draw against Northwestern on Friday at Jeffrey Field, keeping the Nittany Lions’ conference tournament hopes alive with the team just five points out of fourth place.
Ben Madore and Malick Daouda both scored goals for Penn State.

🔺 One Short. Penn State women’s soccer attempted a late rally with a goal in the final three minutes of play, but the Nittany Lions were unable to overcome the Indiana Hoosiers in a 2-1 result Sunday from Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

🔺 Double OT Winner. Penn State field hockey earned one of its biggest wins of the season over the weekend, winning 1-0 in double overtime over No. 11 Iowa on Friday.
True freshman Olivia Marthins scored unassisted midway through the second extra period to lift Penn State to victory.

🔺 Heartland Heartbreak. Penn State football fell on the road to Iowa on Saturday night, 25-24.
Senior running back Kaytron Allen led the run game, totaling 145 yards marking his 10th career 100-plus-yard rushing outing. He also added two touchdowns to extend his streak of scoring at least one rushing touchdown in every contest of the 2025 campaign. In his first collegiate start, redshirt freshman quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer compiled 93 yards through the air on 15-of-28 passing.

🔺 Senior Swim. Penn State swimming and diving hosted Yale over the weekend, recognizing the senior class while competing against the Bulldogs.

🔺 Getting Nutty. Penn State women’s cross country finished seventh out of a competitive field of 30 teams at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis. on Friday afternoon. Florence Caron led the way in 15th place with a time of 20:07.3.
The Nittany Lion men raced at the Princeton Fall Classic, finishing fourth. Nick Sloff led Penn State in 18th place with a time of 23:28.6.
