🔺 Home Ice. No. 6 Penn State men’s hockey is back inside Pegula Ice Arena this weekend, hosting Long Island for a pair of non-conference games. The Sharks finished last season at 20-12-2 overall, and have begun this season 1-2-0.

🔺 West Coast Trip. No. 17 Penn State women’s volleyball travels to the Pacific Northwest this weekend for two Big Ten matches.

The Nittany Lions play at Washington (8-8, 3-3 B1G) today at 10 p.m. before traveling to Oregon tomorrow to play the Ducks (11-5, 2-4 B1G) at 10:30 p.m. Both games will be televised on BTN.

🔺 Kickin’ At Kinnick. Penn State football is on the road this weekend, traveling to Iowa (4-2, 2-1 B1G) to play the Hawkeyes tomorrow at 7 p.m. on Peacock.

🔺 Boiled Over. Penn State women’s soccer earned its eighth victory of the season on Thursday, 1-0 at Purdue.

Desperate for a return to the win column following a pair of difficult results at home last week, the Blue & White responded with an overwhelming defensive effort and opportunistic attack that helped propel PSU to an 8-5-3 record and 4-3-2 mark against Big Ten Conference competition with two opportunities remaining in league play.

🔺 Dive In. Penn State swimming and diving is back at it for its second weekend of competition, hosting Yale tomorrow at noon for the program’s Senior Meet.

🔺 Runnin’ Around. Penn State cross country will split up today, with the men attending the Princeton Fall Classic and the women running at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.

This weekend’s races are the last before the Big Ten Championships on Friday, Oct. 31 in East Lansing, Mich.
