🏈 No. 3 Penn State football has a bye this weekend, so instead of looking ahead to a matchup this weekend, let’s look back at the win at USC last Saturday!

• Penn State improved to 6-0 for the second-straight year. PSU is the only FBS team to start 6-0 in each of the last two seasons.

• Penn State earned its first win in an overtime game since September 1, 2018 against Appalachian State (45-28) and its first win in an overtime game against a Big Ten opponent since October 2, 2016 vs. Minnesota (29-26).

• Tyler Warren’s 17 receptions were a Penn State record and tie Northwestern’s Jon Harvey for most by a Big Ten tight end. His 17 receptions also tied an FBS tight end record, set by New Mexico’s Emilio Vallev in 1967 and equaled by Harvey in 1982.

• QB Drew Allar threw for 391 passing yards, sixth-most in a game by a PSU quarterback and PSU’s most in a game since Sean Clifford’s 401 yards vs. Villanova in 2021.

🔺 B1G Trip West. With just over one week left in the regular season, No. 16 Penn State women’s soccer takes its most important road trip of the year this weekend, traveling to sunny California for matchups against No. 10 UCLA and No. 9 USC.

The Nittany Lions are currently in sixth place in the Big Ten standings with 16 points in conference action, while the Bruins and Trojans are tied atop the standings with 22 points each.

Penn State plays UCLA today at 10:30 p.m. ET and USC on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.

🔺 Philadelphia Freedom. Penn State men’s tennis is in Philadelphia this weekend, competing at the ITA Northeast Regionals with a spot in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships on the line.

🔺 Conference Claim. Penn State women’s tennis’ Olivia Dorner has been named the Co-Big Ten Player of the Week!

Dorner, along with partner Maiko Uchijima, went a perfect 6-0 at the ITA Northeast Regional to earn the doubles title.
