🔺 B1G Time! No. 1 Penn State wrestling opens up Big Ten dual action this weekend, hosting Rutgers (6-2, 0-0 B1G) tomorrow at 4 p.m. inside Rec Hall!
🔺 Boiler Ball. Penn State men’s basketball plays its third consecutive ranked opponent tomorrow, traveling to the state of Indiana for a 2 p.m. tipoff against No. 5 Purdue (14-1, 4-0 B1G) on BTN!
🔺 Back To B1G. No. 9 Penn State men’s hockey jumps back into Big Ten play for the first time since November this weekend, welcoming Minnesota (8-10-1, 4-4-0 B1G) to Pegula Ice Arena for a two-game series beginning today at 6 p.m. on BTN!
🔺 Have Mercy! No. 4 Penn State women’s hockey is on road ice this weekend, traveling to Erie, Pa., for a two-game AHA series at Mercyhurst (13-9-2, 9-4-1 AHA).
The Nittany Lions swept the Lakers earlier this season, outscoring them 9-1 over two games at Pegula Ice Arena.
🔺 B1G Battle. Penn State women’s basketball had the task of hosting No. 9 Michigan on Thursday night, falling to the Wolverines at Rec Hall, 105-65.
Gracie Merkle led the Lady Lions with 18 points on 81% shooting.
🔺 Go Time! Penn State men’s and women’s gymnastics get their 2026 campaigns started this weekend at Rec Hall!
The men’s squad will compete against Army at 2 p.m. on Sunday, while the women’s team will be competing against Yale at the same time.
🔺 Pool Party! Penn State swimming and diving hits the road this weekend, traveling to Virginia tomorrow for a meet against the Cavaliers.
The Penn State divers were originally scheduled to travel to Buffalo this weekend, but the event has been canceled.
🔺 First Serve. Penn State men’s volleyball begins its 2026 season this weekend with a pair of home contests — the Nittany Lions host Mount Olive today at 6 p.m. before welcoming Manhattan to Rec Hall South Gym tomorrow at 3 p.m.
Penn State was the unanimous pick to win the 2026 EIVA title in a vote of the conference’s coaches in December.
