🔺 No. 1 vs. No. 2. No. 1 Penn State wrestling is at home tonight, hosting No. 2 Iowa in a nationally-televised dual at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

Both the Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes are undefeated in dual action this season, with Iowa entering tonight’s showdown with nine ranked wrestlers in their lineup. Penn State has won three straight matchups against Iowa.

🔺 Let’s Get Started. Penn State men’s lacrosse kicks off the 2025 regular season tomorrow, hosting Colgate at 1 p.m. at Panzer Stadium.

The Nittany Lions head into the 2025 campaign ranked No. 14 in the Inside Lacrosse Preseason Poll, and landed three players on the publication’s Top-50 Players List — Jack Fracyon, Alex Ross and Matt Traynor.

🔺 Buckeye Ball. Penn State men’s basketball returned to Rec Hall on Thursday night, falling to Ohio State by a final score of 83-64.

Yanic Konan Niederhauser led the Nittany Lions with 21 points and five rebounds.

🔺 Open It Up. Penn State track and field hosts its second meet of the indoor season this weekend, welcoming teams to University Park for the Penn State National Open today and tomorrow.

🔺 Two-For-One. Penn State swimming and diving competes at home again this weekend, with Army in town today for a 4 p.m. meet and West Virginia jumping in the pool with the Nittany Lions tomorrow at 1 p.m.

🔺 Happy Valley Home. Penn State men’s gymnastics opens up Big Ten action this weekend, hosting Michigan tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Rec Hall.

The Nittany Lion women get their third Big Ten matchup of the season today, hosting Illinois at 6 p.m. for their Women’s Empowerment Meet.

🔺 Out On The Road. Penn State women’s hockey takes its perfect AHA record on the road this weekend, traveling to Moon Township for a two-game series at Robert Morris, which sits at 2-10-2 in conference action.

The men’s hockey team takes the momentum of their series win against Ohio State last weekend to Michigan, with a two-game series against the Wolverines starting today at 7 p.m.

🔺 Safe Haven. Both Penn State women’s and men’s tennis are in New Haven, Conn. this weekend — the men take on Yale tomorrow morning and Buffalo on Sunday, while the women have one match against the Bulldogs Sunday morning.

🔺 Up For The Challenge. No. 17 Penn State men’s volleyball is in Columbus, Ohio this weekend for a pair of matches in the Big Ten Challenge — the Nittany Lions take on No. 3 UCLA today at 4 p.m. and No. 6 USC tomorrow at 4 p.m.

🔺 Now On The Tee Box. Penn State women’s golf tees it up for the first time this spring this weekend, participating in the PDI Intercollegiate in Orlando, Fla. this Sunday through Tuesday.

🔺 Behind The Bench. The Penn State men’s lacrosse program opens their 112th season as a program on Saturday, February 1 against Colgate. Through those 112 years, the Nittany Lions have generated 578 wins, 158 USILA All-Americans and seven NCAA tournament appearances. Penn State has also captured two Big Ten Regular Season titles and one Big Ten Tournament championship since the formation of the Big Ten lacrosse conference in 2015.
