🔺 Return To Rec. Penn State men’s basketball is back inside Rec Hall today, hosting Ohio State at 6:30 p.m. on FS1.

The Nittany Lions won their Return To Rec game a season ago, upsetting No. 12 Illinois, 90-89, after trailing by as many as 14 points in the second half.

🔺 Hung In. Despite an electric fourth quarter comeback attempt on Wednesday against No. 14 Maryland inside Rec Hall, Penn State women’s basketball fell to the Terrapins, 82-73.

Gracie Merkle scored 24 points to lead the Lady Lions, followed closely by Gabby Elliott with 23. All of Elliott’s points came during Penn State’s second half comeback.

🔺 Special Start. Penn State men’s gymnastics’ Matt Underhill is the Big Ten Specialist of the Week!

Underhill posted his fourth consecutive rings’ event title this past weekend against William & Mary with a score of 14.100, his second score of 14.000 or higher this season.

The Nittany Lions secured three players on the list — Jack Fracyon, Alex Ross and Matt Traynor — and were selected to finish third in the conference.
