🏈 No. 6 seed Penn State football beat No. 3 seed Boise State, 31-14, at the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 31 to move on to the CFP Semifinal at the Orange Bowl on Jan. 9!
The Nittany Lions are now 8-0 in Fiesta Bowl appearances.
Penn State earned its second win in a College Football Playoff game and improved to 33-20-2 all-time in postseason games (bowls + CFP).
With Tuesday’s win, Penn State has won 34 games over the last three seasons (2022, 2023, 2024). It marks the first time in program history that Penn State has won at least 34 games over a three-year span.

🔺 B1G Game. It’s game day for Penn State men’s basketball, as the Nittany Lions host Northwestern at the Bryce Jordan Center at 7 p.m. for their third conference game of the season.
Penn State took down Penn, 86-66, back on Dec. 29, earning head coach Mike Rhoades win No. 400 of his career. Ace Baldwin Jr. (23 points, 10 assists) and Yanic Konan Niederhauser (19 points, 15 rebounds) both registered double-doubles.
🔺 Back At It. Penn State women’s basketball battled back and forth with No. 23 Iowa on Wednesday and went into the fourth quarter tied at 55, but an extended Hawkeye run in the final quarter gave them an 80-68 win over the Lady Lions.
Gabby Elliott shattered her career high in scoring with 32 points, including seven 3-point makes. Gracie Merkle added 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Jayla Oden scored 10 points off the bench.
