🔺 Incoming Impact. Penn State women’s soccer and head coach Erica Dambach announced its seven-player 2025 signing class on Wednesday, which TopDrawerSoccer ranks as the No. 6 class in the nation and the top-ranked class among Big Ten schools!

🔺 Battle At Breslin. Penn State men’s basketball fell in a close road game at No. 12 Michigan State on Wednesday, 90-85. Down 10 at halftime, the Nittany Lions came roaring back in the second half, shooting 65 percent to close the gap with the Spartans.

Ace Baldwin Jr. led the way with 20 points and nine assists, while D’Marco Dunn scored a career-high 18 points. Zach Hicks (14 points) and Yanic Konan Niederhauser (13 points) also scored in double figures.

🔺 Top-Ranked Test. Penn State women’s basketball battled back-and-forth with No. 1 UCLA in Long Beach, Calif. on Wednesday, closing to within seven points of the Bruins midway through the fourth quarter before the Bruins pulled away for a 83-67 win.

Gabby Elliott and Talayah Walker led the way with 17 points each for the Lady Lions, followed by Alli Campbell with 12. Campbell added six assists and six rebounds.

🔺 Goal Stopper. The Hockey Commissioners Association has named Penn State goaltender Katie DeSa to the Women’s Hockey Goalie of the Year Watch List!

This season, DeSa has tallied a record of 16-4-0, goals against average of 1.55, and save percentage of .928. She’s picked up four shutout wins and is currently on a six-game win streak. She’s earned five Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Goaltender of the Week honors this season and one AHA Goaltender of the Month honor. She currently leads the AHA in GAA and shutouts.
