🔺 Season To Remember. Penn State football’s record-breaking 13-win season came to an end last night in the College Football Playoff Semifinal, as the Nittany Lions fell in a back-and-forth battle against Notre Dame, 27-24.

Nicholas Singleton rushed for 84 yards and three touchdowns to lead the offensive charge for Penn State, and the defense forced two Fighting Irish interceptions and collected five sacks.

🔺 Hosting No. 1. Penn State men’s hockey has a big weekend ahead, hosting No. 1 Michigan State (17-2-1) for a pair of games starting today at 7 p.m. at Pegula Ice Arena.

The two-game series between the Nittany Lions and Spartans will conclude tomorrow at 6 p.m.

🔺 Conference Clash. No. 11 Penn State women’s hockey is back home this weekend, hosting RIT for a pair of AHA games at Pegula this afternoon and tomorrow.

The Tigers are 11-8-3 overall this season and 4-3-1 in conference action.

🔺 Home Cookin’. No. 1 Penn State wrestling is back at home for the first time in nearly a month today, hosting Michigan State in its first Big Ten dual of the season at 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

🔺 Coast To Coast. Penn State men’s basketball welcomes Big Ten newcomer No. 15 Oregon to the Bryce Jordan Center this Sunday at 4 p.m. for the first meeting between the two programs as conference foes.

🔺 First Set. Penn State men’s volleyball opens up its season this weekend, traveling to Chicago for a pair of matches against No. 12 Loyola Chicago and No. 14 Lewis University.

The Nittany Lions take on the Ramblers in Chicago today at 8 p.m. and the Flyers in Romeoville tomorrow at 8 p.m.

🔺 Go Time. Penn State men’s gymnastics also opens up competition this weekend, traveling to New York to compete at the West Point Open today and tomorrow.

🔺 The Eyes Of Texas. Penn State women’s gymnastics travels to Texas this weekend for the Lone Star Collegiate Invitational in San Antonio, with competition slated against No. 17 Auburn, Temple, No. 24 Maryland and No. 20 Arizona State.

🔺 North Side. Penn State swimming and diving is back in the pool this weekend after more than a month away from competition, traveling to the north side of Chicago for matchups against the University of Chicago and Northwestern in Evanston tomorrow at noon.

🔺 Never Quit. Penn State women’s basketball overcame a 17-point deficit in the second half on Thursday at home against Oregon, taking the lead late, but ultimately fell to the Ducks, 63-61.

Gabby Elliott led the way with 26 points for the Nittany Lions.
