🔺 You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Answers. As soon as it felt like 2022 ended, the 2023 Penn State football is just about to begin. Later this month, BIG10 will be hosting its media days at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, home of the NFL’s Colts.

To represent the Nittany Lions—head coach James Franklin, safety Keaton Ellis, offensive lineman Olumuyiwa Fashanu, and defensive end Adisa Isaac will be in attendance. Their media day will take place Wednesday, July 26.

🔺 A Winning Culture. On Wednesday, Penn State introduced its newest head coach for men’s baseball, Mike Gambino. During his opening press conference, he mapped out his plan and direction for the team.

He echoed the lessons learned from the late Pete Frates, who Gambino hired as a part of his staff at Boston College. After his playing days, Frates was diagnosed with ALS, but that didn’t stop him from showing Gambino the importance of resilience and selflessness.

"One of Pete's famous quotes is 'be passionate, be genuine, be hardworking and don't be afraid to be great. I think that's a really good model for everybody, for all of us and I think it's something to feed off of… hopefully we got a team of guys in this clubhouse that want to put the team first as much as Pete did."
